„Manuel Gómez Morín“
EMAQ Velarias Querétaro, Mexico„Manuel Gómez Morín“
The emblematic Cultural Center „Manuel Gómez Morín“ located in Querétaro, Mexico, has multiple outdoor spaces. Two of them are covered by tensioned roofs,
created by the company EMAQ Velarias, and have become icons for this beautiful cultural precinct.
The amphitheater is a 270 m² acoustic shell. Configured by a semi-circular base and parabolic opening. The design is generated by 3 aligned paraboloids obtained
from the geometry formed by the steel structure and VALMEX® FR 650-2 MEHATOP® F1.
The cultural corridor design is characterized by the dynamism generated from the play and sequence of hyperbolic paraboloids, framed by metal structures with strategic
points for the attachment of the VALMEX® FR 650-2 MEHATOP® F1 membrane, generating a greater visual impact and fulfilling the objective of providing protection to the 485 m² of the art corridor.
