Mehler Texnologies recognized with AMA Award
The Architectural Membrane Association (AMA) has recognized the TF 400 Green façade membrane from the Mehler Texnologies brand with the AMA Award in the “Product” category for the cladding’s outstanding sustainability. Mehler Texnologies is a brand of the FPM Global Business Division Coated Technical Textiles (CTT). The TF 400 mesh fabric is made of 100% upcycled PET bottles. In the opinion of the jury: “This product could become a trendsetter for the increased use of recycled material in tensile architecture applications because its technical characteristics are very similar to the properties of the standard material.” Commenting on the award, Oliver Heneric, SVP GBD CTT, said: “With our Mehler Texnologies brand, we not only want to be a synonym for excellent quality, but also a pioneer in sustainable coated technical textiles. The Award confirms that we are on the right track.”
The international competition made its debut this year and honors outstanding contributions to the conservation of natural resources in the field of membrane structures.
