The roof of VfB Stuttgart’s home stadium…
…was over 24 years old when it was replaced with material from Mehler Texnologies®.
The timing of the replacement was challenging: it needed to be completed within the Bundesliga summer break.
The fabric is made of densely woven PES yarns and coated with a fluoridated nanotopcoat which makes it easier to clean. The material is highly translucent. The stadium always seem sunny and bright without the need of too much artificial lightning.
