Acquisition of major parts of the Heytex Group

We are pleased to announce that our parent company Freudenberg Performance Materials signed an agreement to acquire major parts of the Heytex Group with a view to strengthening the coated technical textiles business of our Mehler Texnologies® brand. The acquisition covers the core business of Heytex with three production locations (Germany and China) and all headquarter related functions, including Sales and R&D. The Heytex Group is one of the world’s leading producers of high-quality and functionalized technical textiles. The parties have agreed not to disclose the purchase price. The merger is still subject to approval by the antitrust authorities.
