| AIRTEX® top |
AIRTEX® top, with 240 g/m², is the heavier AIRTEX® option and is used for a large variety of sun protection and leisure applications such as sun sails, sun protection blinds or boat tarpaulins. Like its smaller brother, it consists of 100% polyester fabric, which is coated on one side with acylate and impregnated with a finish based on Teflon. AIRTEX® top has a very high water resistance (more than 1000mm water column) and provides, contrary to its light weight AIRTEX® option, higher tear-out force and continued tear-out force. This qualifies AIRTEX® top especially for applications, which need stability and durability such as sun covers. The special coating gives AIRTEX® top a distinctive textile character and outstanding characteristics against dyed polyester or cotton materials.
- better tear-out force and continued tear-out force
- watertight
- fungicide finish
AIRTEX® top offers a standard width of 170 cm. Some colors are also available in width of 240 cm, 260 cm and 275 cm.
