No less than three structures fitted with membranes from Mehler
Texnologies were amongst the prizes in the Lightweigt Structures
Association of Australia’s LSAA Awards.
The award in the ‘Small Structures’ category went to the Al Raheeb Kindergarten Fujairah in the United Arab Emirates. VALMEX® FR 1000 MEHATOP F type III was used for the kindergarten’s covered inner courtyard and to provide shade for the terrace.
 
The cherished award in the ‘Large Structures’ category went to another structure in the UAE, the Dubai Outlet Mall. The mall’s large dome is likewise covered with VALMEX® FR 1000 MEHATOP F type III.
A further prize in the ‘Large Structures’ category was awarded to the Grand Pavillion of the Royal Melbourne Showground. With 10,240 square metres of membrane, this multipurpose structure made of VALMEX® FR 1000 MEHATOP F type III is the largest tensioned structure in Australia.
