Mehler Texnologies was also
represented at the G8 Summit in Heiligendamm: Parts of the pavilions
where the Heads of State met were equipped with VALMEX® and POLYMAR®
fabrics.
 The impressive timber construction of the domed pavilion was anchored in a pedestal covered with POLYMAR® 8212. This double-sided acrylic-painted fabric is provided with an agent that destroys microbes, is UV and flame resistant. Apart from the protective function this also provides a harmonious connection of building base, staircase and pavilion. The 123 beige colour selected by Sindo E. Todtenhöfer GmbH also allowed a transition-free continuation of the pedestal to the adjoining white park pavilion.
 The roof of the park pavilion was covered with VALMEX® FR liner. This fabric is also painted on both sides, flame-resistant
and is predominantly used in textile construction. The light weight of 550 g/sq.m and the excellent welding characteristics make VALMEX® FR liner a material that is often used for temporary construction.
